After attempting and failing the CCIE SP Lab, I decided to regroup and focus on something that interests me. I attempted SP because I thought it would be an easier path from R&S and in fact a lot of the material did overlap. Unfortunately, it's not enough to want to do a CCIE because it's "easier" and I firmly believe that's the wrong motivation to do a CCIE or in fact anything.
Now that I had time to think about what I'm really interested in, I'm going to pursue Security . I think there are talks about the track being updated but in the meantime, I'm going study for the v3 written & lab.
